You've probably heard a small piece of this tune, but I like the whole Toto'ish composition of this tune

Yeah Klemme!!!!!

I've heard the stoopid break on that classic drum fills site (I'm sure someone will post the link!) but this is the first time I've heard the full tune and the groove is awesome!

It's the distance he puts between the BD and the snare on his swung 16's - really clipped! Top stuff.

nice one matey.

Oh yeah!!!
This was discussed thoroughly a while back, even had peeps attmpt transcribing the little tidbit that Vinnie does.

Dunno if that's available in the archives of this BB.

Thanks for the entire tune, I've had it on MiniDisc forever with average sound quality. This should replace it just fine.

Hi all,

I gave transcribing that fill a shot. Unfortunately, it's late and I had to do it on headphones. I did two versions. What I actually hear is on Version 1. Version 2 has an extra note I can't actually hear on headphones, but which I suspect might be there but which is barely audible.

There are a couple of tom notes in the middle of beat 2 that are very hard to make out pitchwise, but I did my best. I offer two suggested stickings too which vary a bit depending on whether or not he played the extra note in Version 2. I'll leave it up for a day or so. Enjoy,

Brad
